Remarks by Director

Dear Friends,

After ten years of dedication, 2025 as the eleventh year of our dance company. Looking back, our hearts are filled with gratitude and memories. Since its establishment, B.DANCE has faced countless challenges and grown tremendously. This year, I hope we can "reset to zero," start afresh, and embrace future challenges with a brand-new stance.

This year will focus on education and international collaboration. We will launch the "OPEN HOUSE Project," offering creative journeys through parent-child dance, film and photography. This will allow children to personally experience the fusion of dance and digital media, sparking their imagination. Additionally, we will promote diverse art experiences in schools, letting students feel the transformative power of art. In mid-May, we will collaborate with the National Kaohsiung Center for the Arts (Weiwuying) for the second time to host three sessions of the arts program. Which will invite 25 schools to participate, sharing the charm of dance with children and advancing arts education together.

On the international touring front, we will begin in Spain and perform in eight countries, including the Netherlands, Switzerland, and France, with a total of 40 performances. This year's tour marks our debut in the Netherlands and is a wonderful opportunity to showcase how individuals of different age groups interpret dance. Through the participation of senior dancers from various countries, we hope to demonstrate the boundless potential of Taiwanese contemporary dance to audiences worldwide.

"Life is like a bird treading on snow; its traces are fleeting." We spend our lives striving to reach the summit, yet beyond the clouds, there are always higher peaks to climb. To ascend another mountain, one must inevitably descend. At the moment of resetting to zero, we begin again. The heart may break, but the steps cannot stop. One day, we will stand together, letting our passion for dreams become a dazzling sunrise.
