[Remarks by Director]

Our journey began in March, departing from Spain and crossing through Switzerland, the Netherlands, and France. We moved constantly between theaters and hotels, changing cities and beds almost daily. Our suitcases rolled over countless streets and staircases. In unfamiliar hotel rooms, we learned to find familiarity within confined spaces, and in every "elsewhere," we rediscovered the center of our hearts. Day by day, we adjusted, re-sensitized, and re-adapted—each performance felt like the first, and the only one.

The final stop of this journey—Paris. We performed ALICE for six consecutive nights at Le 13ème Art Theater. The applause often began even before the lights dimmed, and at times, the entire audience rose to their feet in standing ovation. No translation was needed; the body became the bridge of understanding. This was more than a performance—it was a cultural encounter. Through dance, we gave voice to Taiwan's presence and heard in return the heartfelt responses of audiences from afar.

But these applauses do not belong to us alone—they belong to the rich cultural soil of Taiwan. We are deeply aware that every time we step onto an international stage, we carry the responsibility of speaking for our land through creation. Through dance, we ensure that Taiwan is not just a name on the map, but a place filled with emotion, soul, and warmth. We hope these stories told through the body will plant seeds in the hearts of our audience, inspiring new imaginations and deeper understanding of what "from Taiwan" means.

For me, the arts are a way of communication—and dance, a way to affirm the value of our existence. Along this long touring path, we weren’t just moving for the sake of performing; we carried a mission—to let the world see Taiwan, to let the world hear Taiwan. When audiences leave the theater, I hope they remember not only the tenderness of Before We Say Goodbye and the wonder of ALICE, but also that these stories came from an island called Taiwan.
