September, where light and shadow intertwine, brings us a month of profound and abundant moments on stage. The honor in France, the performances in Germany, and the launch of our new work “Flowing” all reflect a rhythm that is both demanding and expansive, opening our vision ever wider. At this moment, we reaffirm dance is not only the creation of aesthetics, but also the bearing of responsibility and the act of sharing. It is a guiding light that leads us forward.

The most meaningful moment of this month was receiving the Taiwan-France Cultural Award in person in Paris. This honor is not only a recognition of the company’s years of dedication but also a reminder of how we can pursue sustainability through dance, and how art may serve as a bridge between culture and society. It belongs to every partner who has strived alongside us, a flower nurtured with sweat, and a source of encouragement and hope for the entire dance ecosystem.

Following this, we traveled to the Freiburg Arts Festival in Germany, reviving the stage power of “Floating Flowers” in its duet version. Reappearing after years, this work became a reunion with our creation and a rekindling of energy. Every leap carried with it our love and reverence for the stage, and we look forward to sharing this long-awaited intensity and passion with the audience.

At the same time, rehearsals for our brand-new production “Flowing” officially began. Rooted in Taiwanese cultural imagery and the flow of life, this work will bring audiences a unique sensory journey in its winter premiere. September marks the beginning of this journey, where we tell the stories of Taiwan’s seasons through the body, weaving emotion into every breath and step.

On September 26, we will also take part in a charitable event centered on parent-child companionship, bringing dance beyond the theater and into daily life, sharing warmth through art. We believe that even the smallest force can ignite hope, and that dance can become a gentle embrace that heals hearts.

September, with its interwoven shadows, is not only about the splendor of the stage, but also about the moments of life illuminated. Amid the busyness, we see hope; within the interlacing, we hold fast to our original intentions. And your support has always been the greatest force that carries us forward.
