[Remarks by Director]

The autumn wind rises in October, stirring not only fallen leaves but also our steps forward once again.
After a summer of quiet reflection, the rhythm inside B.DANCE’s rehearsal room quickens; the dancers’ breaths grow deeper, their energy converging into a radiant pulse about to surge forth.
This is our moment of acceleration — a time dedicated to everyone who believes in the power of art and walks alongside us.

The annual production ‘Flowing’ is now in full rehearsal.
Within shifting light and shadow, the dancers’ bodies ripple like time itself.
Drawing from Taiwan’s seasonal cycles and natural rhythms, the work contemplates the gathering and dispersing of life — its flow, renewal, and courage to begin again.
Each movement seems to say: “Flow is not merely the shape of water, but the way we face the world and existence itself.”

This month, I had the honor of speaking on the TEDxYongkang stage, sharing a belief central to my artistic journey:
“Art is the shortest distance between Taiwan and the world.”
Dance, to me, is not only something to be watched — it is an act of communication, a way for the body to express what language cannot.
Meanwhile, serving as a judge for the University of Taipei Danse competition, I was deeply inspired by the passion of young creators — their clarity and courage remind us of why we began this path.
B.DANCE also joined Taipei Art Week, bringing dance back into the pulse of the city, merging with daily life and resonating with the people.

So run with us.

October marks the beginning of our sprint.
In the rehearsal room, bodies run toward mastery; in our minds, ideas run toward new horizons.
Our hearts are alive with anticipation, and we invite you to run beside us —
toward the stage, toward inspiration, toward a broader, brighter future.

Run — because stillness has never been our language.
