Tsai Po-Cheng, founder and artistic director of B.DANCE, is one of the most prominent international choreographers in the contemporary dance world. He was named Outstanding Choreographer of the Year by the authoritative German dance magazine tanz and won the French Federation of Performing Arts Critics' Award for Emerging Choreographer of the Year, demonstrating his high regard within the rigorous European art criticism system. In recent years, he has been consecutively awarded one of the Ten Outstanding Young Persons of TAIWAN (Culture and Arts Category) and will be awarded the "Taiwan-France Cultural Award" in 2024, recognizing his outstanding contributions to international cultural exchange and contemporary art practice.
