According to scientific research, climate warming will thaw ancient viruses from glaciers and permafrost, reactivating pathogens that have been frozen for thousands of years.
From this report, an extended metaphor for modern emotional life: when a relationship begins to fracture, both parties become like glaciers slowly melting away — pulled apart by the heat of resentment and grievance, releasing long-suppressed dissatisfaction and accusations no longer swallowed in silence. The wholeness and beauty once shared between them cannot be reclaimed, leaving each alone on a frozen plateau, looking back across the distance, powerless to turn the tide.
