Artistic Director Tsai, Po-Cheng of B.DANCE presents his fifth full-length work, conceived from the psychological state of mass isolation during the pandemic era — confronting a subjectivity defined by delayed time and suspended space. Within this inner world, the self and its psychological counterparts chase and leap across consciousness, coexisting, cohabiting, and moving together: competing together, aligning together, each performing the self. Together yet apart, singular yet double, real yet imagined.
In the post-pandemic era, an abundance of whiteness begins to speak with me. Closing my eyes opens a passage toward the extraordinary — leaping into that transcendent dimension of time and space. Every persona is me. Yet which one is truly me? At the very moment of dissolution, light breaks through the shadows, and a new day begins. But today — which version of me will come along?
