::Remarks by Director ::

Extending from February’s First Thread, the line that had just been drawn did not immediately take on a visible form. Instead, it began to stretch slowly across time and space—testing, approaching, and unfolding. It did not rush toward completion, nor did it seek definition. It remained in-between, in a state not yet named, where relationships and possibilities quietly began to grow.

This month, we officially entered rehearsals for The Net. Creation is no longer an abstract idea—it has moved into the body, into space, into every breath and every movement. The distances between dancers, the subtle shifts in rhythm, the interactions between body and installation—each element is continuously adjusted and responded to, allowing previously invisible connections to gradually emerge within the rehearsal space.

At the same time, we began an intensive period of testing. A three-day stage installation test became more than technical verification; it was a process of engaging with the unknown. How light falls, how lines become visible, how space holds movement—each detail is approached incrementally, within a state that remains unfinished.

Within this rhythm, we also entered into more dialogues. Through media interviews and member engagement programs at the National Theater & Concert Hall, we started to extend this thread outward. Audiences are not only invited to observe the work, but to enter, in advance, a state that is still in formation—to experience how dance is constructed through relationships.

March is not a result, but a process.

Not completion, but growth.

As subtle tensions begin to form between lines, and as every beam of light in the space finds its response, we come to understand—The Net is not something that is “woven” into existence, but something that emerges naturally through countless relationships.

And we are already within it.
